How Boost Button Works

. The boost button on an e-bike acts as an enhanced level of pedal assist, providing a temporary boost in power only when the rider is pedaling.

2. This feature helps with quick acceleration and hill climbing while maintaining legal status, as it requires pedaling and does not allow continuous motor control like a throttle.

3. This distinction ensures safety and aligns with regulations, differentiating e-bikes from motorized vehicles.

4. The Boost Button provides a power boost for up to one minute, ideal for quick acceleration. After each use, it must be pressed again for continued activation. This design ensures safe and controlled performance on every ride.

Change-of-mind e-bike returns: customer is responsible for the direct return/collection cost, currently estimated at a maximum of approximately £200 per bike for UK mainland returns. See Returns Policy for full details

ENGWE manufacturer warranty (standard component cover)

The periods below apply to manufacturing faults under normal use, measured from purchase. ENGWE assesses the fault and may supply a replacement part under its warranty.

  • 12 months: frame, fork, handlebars, folding tube and seatpost; motor and its Hall sensor/bearings; battery and its case/covers; controller, charger, display, wiring, throttle, pedal-assist sensor and non-wear brake components.
  • 6 months: headlights and taillights; kickstand, mudguards, rear rack, pedals, grips, cranks, chainrings, hubs, chain, shifters, rear derailleur, freewheel and shock absorber.
  • 3 months: manufacturing defects in the saddle, plastic parts, brake disc/rotor, brake pads and brake cable. Normal wear is excluded.
  • 1 month: tyre manufacturing defects present on receipt. Punctures, impact damage and ordinary wear are excluded.

The battery is covered for qualifying faults such as failure to charge or store power, including capacity falling below 60%, within its 12-month period. A replacement battery keeps the remaining original warranty period.

Accident damage, misuse, improper storage or maintenance, unauthorised modification or repair, water damage and normal wear are excluded from ENGWE’s manufacturer warranty. Do not arrange a repair or return without prior agreement.

For a claim, contact Rocket Ebikes with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos or a short video. Your statutory consumer rights against Rocket Ebikes are unaffected.

Impeccable finish

Fast delivery and careful packaging. The bike is a little heavy, but very sturdy, with excellent workmanship and a great green color. The assembly is simple, I didn't even need the documentation, and the tools provided are more than sufficient. I highly recommend this electric bike, no regrets about my purchase!
