ENGWE E26 ST – Step-Through Convenience with Fat Tyre Capability
The ENGWE E26 ST step-through electric bike combines easier frame access with the full-size feel of an all-terrain fat tyre e-bike. Its low-entry design makes getting on and off more straightforward, whether you are commuting, stopping at the shops or heading out for a relaxed countryside ride.
The ST shares the E26’s 250W rear hub motor, up to 70Nm of torque and 768Wh removable battery. You get useful assistance for changing terrain and generous battery capacity for everyday journeys, without needing to lift your leg over a high top tube.
Broad 26-inch fat tyres, a suspension fork and a suspension seatpost help cushion uneven surfaces. Hydraulic disc brakes and Shimano 7-speed gearing give you control over braking and pedalling, while the included rear rack, mudguards and lights add everyday practicality.

- Low-entry step-through frame: Easier mounting and dismounting, especially useful for frequent stops, everyday clothing or carrying luggage on the rear rack.
- 250W rear hub motor: Up to 70Nm of torque helps with pedal-assisted climbs. The UK specification limits assistance to 25km/h / 15.5mph.
- 768Wh removable battery: A 48V 16Ah lithium-ion battery that can be taken off the bike for convenient charging indoors.
- Long-range capability: ENGWE claims up to 140km / approximately 87 miles in pedal-assist mode. Actual range depends on assistance level, terrain, rider and luggage weight, weather and tyre pressure.
- 26 × 4-inch fat tyres: A broad tyre footprint for a steady feel across roads, cycle paths, gravel tracks and gentle trails.
- Suspension fork and suspension seatpost: Cushioning at the front of the bike and under the saddle helps take the edge off uneven ground.
- 180mm hydraulic disc brakes: Front and rear hydraulic braking for controlled stops and light lever effort.
- Shimano 7-speed gearing: Find a comfortable pedalling rhythm as the road gradient and your assistance needs change.
- Equipped for commuting and leisure: LCD display, front and rear lights, mudguards, rear rack and kickstand included.

A month ago I bought an engine x and after that an E26. I don't know which one is better. Design is a separate story. Both bikes look almost futuristic.

I received my ebike very soon within week ... After having more than 300 km ride I want to say its super fast and reliable... The range of km/charge depends upon the slopes and hills. As the area where I live is not straight so range decreases. But the power and the overall performance + comfort is Extra ordinary..
