ENGWE E26 High-Step – A Full-Size Fat Tyre Electric Bike for Longer Rides

The ENGWE E26 High-Step electric bike brings a traditional frame layout to a capable all-terrain e-bike. Its 26-inch fat tyres, generous battery capacity and practical equipment make it a strong option for commuting, countryside rides and exploring cycle paths at the weekend.

A 250W rear hub motor with up to 70Nm of torque helps you keep moving on climbs, while Shimano gearing lets you choose a comfortable pedalling rhythm. The removable 48V 16Ah battery gives you 768Wh of capacity and can be charged away from the bike.

Comfort comes from a front suspension fork and a suspension seatpost, working with the broad tyres to soften bumps and vibration. Hydraulic disc brakes, fitted mudguards, front and rear lights and a rear rack complete a useful everyday package.

  • 26 × 4-inch fat tyres: A broad tyre footprint for a stable feel across roads, towpaths, gravel tracks and gentle trails.
  • Suspension fork and suspension seatpost: Two sources of cushioning help reduce the bumps felt through the handlebars and saddle.
  • 180mm hydraulic disc brakes: Front and rear hydraulic brakes provide controlled stopping with light lever effort.
  • Shimano 7-speed gearing: Adjust your pedalling effort to suit climbs, level roads and the assistance setting you choose.
  • Practical daily equipment: LCD display, front and rear lights, mudguards, rear rack and kickstand included.

ENGWE manufacturer warranty (standard component cover)

The periods below apply to manufacturing faults under normal use, measured from purchase. ENGWE assesses the fault and may supply a replacement part under its warranty.

  • 12 months: frame, fork, handlebars, folding tube and seatpost; motor and its Hall sensor/bearings; battery and its case/covers; controller, charger, display, wiring, throttle, pedal-assist sensor and non-wear brake components.
  • 6 months: headlights and taillights; kickstand, mudguards, rear rack, pedals, grips, cranks, chainrings, hubs, chain, shifters, rear derailleur, freewheel and shock absorber.
  • 3 months: manufacturing defects in the saddle, plastic parts, brake disc/rotor, brake pads and brake cable. Normal wear is excluded.
  • 1 month: tyre manufacturing defects present on receipt. Punctures, impact damage and ordinary wear are excluded.

The battery is covered for qualifying faults such as failure to charge or store power, including capacity falling below 60%, within its 12-month period. A replacement battery keeps the remaining original warranty period.

Accident damage, misuse, improper storage or maintenance, unauthorised modification or repair, water damage and normal wear are excluded from ENGWE’s manufacturer warranty. Do not arrange a repair or return without prior agreement.

For a claim, contact Rocket Ebikes with your order number, a description of the issue and clear photos or a short video. Your statutory consumer rights against Rocket Ebikes are unaffected.
