The Engwe L20 3.0 Boost brings full-suspension performance to the compact commuter bike segment. Combining a compact frame with 30 mm rear suspension and a lockable hydraulic fork, this bike glides over urban obstacles with ease. Equipped with a 250W road-legal torque-sensor hub motor delivering 75 Nm torque, a large 648 Wh battery, and smart Boost button, it’s agile, portable, and perfect for navigating both city streets and light trail adventures.

L20 review

So far so good loving the freedom I have with the L20. I purchased this ebike because of lung disease and hills were becoming an ordeal on my road bike and because I don't drive and work in various locations this bike is a game changer. Hoping for many adventures

Serious bang for the buck

First of all the L20 arrived faster than advertized. Building the bike was ok. The structure in the manual doesnt make much sense though. Both brakes and gear was perfectly aligned out the box. Having build a lot of different bikes this one was a quite pleasant build. Lots of well thought details in the build. Like very good cable management and no frame shafing from cables.
The bike rides like a tank. Apart from the small motor delay when pedaling its a pure joy to ride. Buttons on the display could be large or easier to use. But thats so far my only complaint. The motor is very powerful. My wife has a e-bike with 350w center engine. It cannot pull me faster than 18 kmh going up the steep hill to our house. The L20 locked to 25 kmh delivers 25 kmh also going up steep hills.
For this prize its hard to find anything similar. Good build quality. Nice design. Good performance.
